XXII Graduation Day

The Graduation Day at C.S.I. Ewart Women’s Christian College held on January 18, 2024, was a momentous occasion, marking the culmination of academic endeavors and the beginning of a new chapter for the graduating students. The event was graced by the presence of esteemed faculty, administrators, and distinguished guests.The event commenced with an Academic Procession, a symbolic representation of the scholarly achievements and the journey of knowledge.Rev. A. Prem Kumar, Presbyter In-charge of Melrosapuram Pastorate, led the congregation in an opening prayer. The gathering joined in singing the hymn, “O God, our help in ages past,” creating a spiritual atmosphere.Dr. S. Stephen Jebanesan, College Secretary, officially declared the Graduation Day open, followed by Dr. Florence Vijila S, the Principal, delivered a warm welcome address, providing insights into the achievements and milestones of the college over the academic year.The Rt. Rev. Dr. K. REUBEN MARK, Moderator in-charge of CSI and Bishop in-charge of the Diocese of Madras, delivered an inspiring Graduation Day Address, sharing words of wisdom and encouragement for the graduating students.Heads of Department took the stage to present the candidates for graduation and distribute degrees.The Principal administered the Graduates' Pledge, emphasizing the ethical and moral responsibilities that come with the conferred degrees.The Principal formally dissolved the Graduation Ceremony, symbolizing the completion of the academic journey for the graduating students.The Rt. Rev. Dr. K. REUBEN MARK led the congregation in a closing prayer and delivered a benediction, invoking blessings for the graduates as they embark on their future endeavors.The event concluded with the singing of the National Anthem, symbolizing unity and patriotism.The ceremony concluded with an Academic Recession, signifying the end of the formal proceedings.
