The commencement of the second floor building work at CSI Ewart Women’s Christian College, Melrosapuram, took place on February 10, 2024. The program included traditional elements such as the lighting of Kuthuvilakku and an opening prayer. Dr. S. Stephen Jebanesan, the College Secretary, delivered the welcome address, followed by Dr. S. Florence Vijila, the Principal, presenting the history of the college. Bible readings were conducted in Tamil by Mrs. Premila Josephine and in Telugu by Ms. Caroline. The unveiling of the tablet and greetings from distinguished guests including Rev. C. Jayaseelan Gnanadikam, Rev. S. Augustin Premraj, and Prof. Dr. J. Samuel Cornelius marked the event. The guest address was delivered by THE RT. REV. Dr. K. REUBEN MARK, Moderator in-Charge, CSI -Synod & Bishop In-Charge, Madras Diocese. The vote of thanks was given by Mrs. J. Linta Josephine, and the event concluded with prayers and a benediction led by Rev. Dr. K. Priscilla Parimala Reuben and THE RT. REV. Dr. K. REUBEN MARK respectively.
