The college union society successfully organized Talanton 2024, a cultural event for junior college students, on the 30th of August 2024 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the college auditorium. The event saw enthusiastic participation from 10 schools in and around the areas of Tambaram to Chengalpattu, with a total of 120 students and 14 faculty members attending.
Five competitions were conducted, with four on-stage events: Adaptune, Group Dance, Group Singing, and Solo Singing. The sole off-stage competition was Doodle Art. Students displayed remarkable talent, and several were awarded prizes for their performances. The overall championship trophy was won by Nandivaram Girls Higher Secondary Government School. A delicious lunch was provided to all participants and faculty, contributing to the enjoyable atmosphere of the day.
The event featured two sessions with distinguished guests. The first session was graced by Dr. Madhumitha Vijayakumar, CEO & Founder of Seeds of Hope, and Mrs. Divya Sam, Proprietor of The Ark Promoters and Developers. The second session honoured by Mr. Frank Titus Antony, Dancer & Choreographer of Maze Academy and UBD Community, alongside Mr. Sanjay, Dancer from the same academy and community.
